I am still currently trying to get myself in shape for any role that would require it and I am doing this for myself to make me feel better about myself. That is so awesome, Leilani! Congrats on booking the role. Is it gonna be anything like your Basic Instinct role? 🙂

And yes, it’s so true… when you let go of being attached to the outcome… and I mean truly let go, then you are free to focus on delivering the work. When an actor relates to the audition as a performance in and of itself, then there is no other outcome to worry about!

I actually just booked the last audition for a SAG film I went on. It was for a producers call that was down in San Diego! After reading the sides I realized I was perfect for the part and took off the entire day to drive down there, audtition, and drive back by 4:45 to pick up my daughter from school.I actually decided to myself that I would need to make sure I was ok with the outcome if I committed to that long drive. That I would honestly be ok if I didn’t get it. It really did free me up in the audition and I guess I rocked it. Going to San Diego in Jan to film it. Thanks
