As a beginner, you start at the beginning. It’s not just talent or a gift they are looking for. When you’re starting they want someone who knows to go in and say one simple line without causing problems. Talent means very little at the beginning in this business, you have to have something else to set you apart that gives them confidence that you can do the job they need you to do.

If you truly are a beginner with no experience, you need to do plays wherever you are. If there is a local college, school, or university where students are shooting student films, go there and try to get cast in those. If you have no experience at all, you’re not ready for Hollywood.

What if you have no experience but you have talent and a gift to do television. What if you are a beginner? But you want to do auditions.
