I would recommend the Network ISA group. I’m not 100% sure if it’s what you’re looking for, but they are dedicated to connect screenwriters from all over the world. I think you’ll like it!

I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get feedback from other knowledgeable individuals that share the same interest.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Kudos!

Lots of questions there, Richard. Too many to try to answer all of them here. Just as we did before, you can order script feedback through the Smart Girls site at http://smartg.com/script-coverage/ or call me at the office at 818/907-6511.

As for using someone else’s work like you have… that’s a much longer conversation that also involves me asking you questions.

Talk soon.

I recently wrote a script and I’m almost ready to seek feedback on it. How should I go about submitting it to you. The script is
a childrens story and I don’t believe any film production company has ever done a film using
this authors books. Actually, I used two of this authors books to put together a feature length film.
Now what do I do? The author has passed away and the authors books are being sold thru
some company. I think I have the news article that had a Sunday write-up on the authors books
being published. I used two of the books and some of my own writing to enable me to create a film script. Do you have any advice on which way to go on getting the film script into hands that
can be trusted?

You’re welcome, Radu. Marketing a screenplay is definitely challenging and can be quite the process.

We offer Query Letter Mailings and Email Query Blasts. Check them out and, of course, let us know if we can be of service in helping you do your marketing.

That’s great, Ross. And yes, you make a good point about the feedback. You should look at the notes you get from anyone, see if they make sense and then choose whether or not to apply them.

And if you hear the same thing a few times, then seriously consider those notes.

Congrats on continuing to move forward!
