That’s great, Debbie. If you’ve been doing this for 30 years, then it has become second nature to you.

I’ve found that many aspiring writers — they feel something inside but may not have fully articulated it yet. I encourage them to explore and discover it if it’s not clear. But in the end, one would hope they have discovered it and can really work the craft to amplify it.

It is a disturbing to see a film that has been made that when you finish, you still kind of wonder what the point is! I’m with you on the aggravation on that.

This is one of the things that aggravates me when watching films etc. If you have a question and want to find the answer that is something compelling and automatically gives you your theme. But what do I know was born into this industry and been a professional for over 30 years.
